2014-11-14ALSA: ice1712: consider error valueSudip Mukherjee1-1/+3
earlier we were ignoring the return value of snd_ak4114_create and always returning 0. now we are returning the actual status. revo_init is calling this function, and revo_init is checking the return value. CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As result the __dev* markings will be going away. Remove use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit. Signed-off-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
2012-10-18ALSA: ice17xx: Fix inclusion of linux/io.hTakashi Iwai1-1/+0

2008-09-09ALSA: ice1712/ice1724: Coding style fixes part 1 (more coming up)Vedran Miletic1-4/+4
Inspired by Alexander Beregalov's patches for wtm and aureon.c, I decided to run checkpatch on some more files. After some work checkpatch.pl-0.23 --no-tree --file --strict <file> reports 0 errors, 0 warnings, 0 checks, n lines checked for: phase.c phase.h juli.c (1 check about unused code, maybe we should comment it) juli.h (no changes necessary) In other files I have just fixed // comments and long lines along the way (but not all of them), more coming up. 2008-01-31[ALSA] ice1712, ice1724 - Code clean upTakashi Iwai1-5/+18
Clean up ice1712/ice1724 codes. The board-specific data is allocated locally in each code instead of having an ungly union in struct ice1712. Also, fix coding issues in prodigy_hifi.c. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@perex.cz>
2008-01-31[ALSA] Remove sound/driver.hTakashi Iwai1-1/+0
This header file exists only for some hacks to adapt alsa-driver tree. It's useless for building in the kernel. Let's move a few lines in it to sound/core.h and remove it. With this patch, sound/driver.h isn't removed but has just a single compile warning to include it. This should be really killed in future. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@perex.cz>

2007-05-11[ALSA] Fix conflicts between const and __devinitdataTakashi Iwai1-12/+12

2007-02-09[ALSA] ice1724 - Add support of M-Audio Audiophile 192Takashi Iwai1-0/+204
Added the (experimental) support of M-Audio Audiophile 192 board. Currently, the analog and the digital playbacks seem working fine. The inputs seem not working as far as I've tested yet. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@suse.cz>
2007-02-09[ALSA] Enable the analog loopback of the Revolution 5.1Jochen Voss1-10/+122
Enable the analog loopback of the Revolution 5.1 card. This patch adds support for the PT2258 volume controller and modifies the Revolution 5.1 driver to make use of this facility. This allows to control the analog loopback of the card. Signed-off-by: Jochen Voss <voss@seehuhn.de> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@suse.cz>
2007-02-09[ALSA] Enable capture from line-in and CD on Revolution 5.1Jochen Voss1-1/+9
Enable capture from line-in and CD on the Revolution 5.1 card. This patch adds support for switching between the 5 input channels of the AK5365 ADC and modifies the Revolution 5.1 driver to make use of this facility. Previously the capture channel was fixed to channel 0 (microphone on the Revolution 5.1 card). 2006-09-23[ALSA] ak4xxx - Remove bogus IPGA controlsTakashi Iwai1-1/+0
Remove IPGA volume controls and merge the IPGA range to ADC volume controls. These two volumes are not really independent but connected simply in different ranges 0-0x7f and 0x80-max. It doesn't make sense to provide two controls. Since both 0x7f and 0x80 specify 0dB, a hack is needed for IPGA range to skip 0x80 (increment one) for such controls. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@suse.cz>
2006-09-23[ALSA] Clean up and add TLV support to AK4xxx i2c driverTakashi Iwai1-18/+29
- Clean up the code in AK4xxx-ADDA i2c code. - Fix capture gain controls for AK5365 - Changed the static table for DAC/ADC mixer labels to use structs - Implemented TLV entries for each AK codec The volumes in AK4524, AK4528 and AK5365 are corrected with a table to be suitable for dB conversion. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
