This kernel makes nfsv3 LFS capable. At the moment the nfsv2 is now missing the checks in read/write/... to return overflow/toobig errors if somebody tries to access part of files over 2G. 2.4.0-test8 seems to be missing those checks as well (2.2.18pre2aa2 had those checks). That's not a major issue but it's work in progress. If you want to reivew the patch incremental to 2.2.18pre9 that makes nfsv3 LFS capable (it's the interesting subset of 40_lfs-2.2.18pre9aa1-16.bz2), you're welcome and the patch is here: ftp://ftp.us.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/andrea/patches/v2.2/2.2.18pre9/only-lfs-nfs-for-review-1.bz2 Have fun!
