$Id: CHANGES,v 1.23 2002/11/09 23:10:15 root Exp $

NOTE: Version numbers differing only in a final letter (e.g. 1.2.1a
versus 1.2.1) matter only if you intend to make your own modified
versions of SuperRescue using the included build scripts; such version
increments do not matter if you use the disk as-is. Furthermore, for
such changes you can replace only the "buildtree" tarball instead of
downloading the entire ISO image.

Changes from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2
---------------------------
- Include IrcII, the standard text-mode IRC client.

Changes from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1
---------------------------
- Upgrade the kernel to 2.4.20-rc1 and ISOLINUX to 2.00.
- *HOPEFULLY* fix Yet Another Build Script Problem[TM].
- Make booting from a USB CD-ROM work properly.
- Mount usbdevfs by default.
- zisofs-tools 1.0.4 required to build.

Changes from 2.0.0a to 2.1.0
----------------------------
- Support use as a network boot master.
- New upstream release based on RedHat 7.2 and kernel 2.4.18-pre7-ac3.

Changes from 2.0.0 to 2.0.0a
----------------------------
- Fix some build script bugs. Also, run mkzftree in parallel mode by
  default.

Changes from 1.x to 2.0.0
-------------------------
- Now based on RedHat 7.1.
- Using zisofs compression to fit about 1.4 GB worth of software on a
single disk. SuperRescue now includes KDE, for example.
- Somewhat cleaned up build procedure.
