LA RECRUITMENT OPENS NEW OFFICE IN MALAYSIA

LA Recruitment has further cemented its growth as an international employment specialist with the opening of a second overseas office in Kuala Lumpur.

The serviced office in Malaysia's capital comes just a few months after the company set up a permanent base in Qatar to service the Middle East.

The Kuala Lumpur office will initially service one particular client, which primarlity supplies engineers to the oil and gas industry, but it is expected the workload will increase quickly. The office will be supported by the main operations team in Aberdeen.

"we are delighted to have opened this remote office in Malaysia, which accounts for about 5% of our work.  We were asked to set up there after our clients lost their Malaysian agent and it was important for us to have a presence there so we could continue to provide the same high level of personal service. The agent in Kuala Lumpur will identify suitable candidates to fill posts and from Aberdeen we will then process them and make sure they have the relevant documentation".
